• The Holy Spirit is God!

 

o Involved in creation Gen 1:2

 

o Ananias and Sapphira Acts 5:3-4

 

o The words of God are the words the Holy Spirit inspired. 2 Tim 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21

 

o We are the temple of God because the Spirit indwells us. 1 Cor 6:19

 

o The one born of the Spirit is said to be born of God. John 3:5-8

 

 

 

• The Holy Spirit is a person

 

o He speaks Acts 8:29, 11:12, 13:2

 

o He has feelings Eph 4:30

 

o He has fellowship with us Phil 2:1 2 Cor 13:14

 

 

 

• He is distinct from The Father and The Son. Mark 1:10-11, John 15:26, John 16:7

 

 

 

• The work of the Holy Spirit

 

o He convicts the world of sin. John 16:8


o He regenerates the repentant believer. Titus 3:5


o Bears witness we are God’s children Rom 8:16


o In fills the believer Acts 2:4, Eph 5:18


o He is the source of The Gifts 1 Cor 12
