So let us have an attitude of thankfulness to God. He has loved us, Cared for us and will never leave us or forsake us.

  

As part of the discussion we felt that an expression of thankfulness is giving. We thought Foodbank would be a good place to give to.

 

The idea of Foodbank is: as you go shopping you buy a couple of extra items of non-perishable items to give to Foodbank for them to distribute to those in need.

If you want to buy something and bring it to group either Monday or Thursday then please do so. We will then take what has been given and take it to the distribution centre.

The kind of things they are looking for are:

• Milk (UHT or powdered)
• Sugar (500g)
• Fruit juice (carton)
• Soup
• Pasta sauces
• Sponge pudding (tinned)
• Tomatoes (tinned)
• Cereals
• Rice pudding (tinned)
• Tea Bags/instant coffee
• Instant mash potato
• Rice/pasta
• Tinned meat/fish
• Tinned fruit
• Jam
• Biscuits or snack bars
