Goodbye Faith Ohaeri, A Godly woman, Shining God's Grace in her life

It was with sadness we heard the Faith Ohaeri has left Tower Hamlets. She has gone to pastures new. She will be sadly missed.

We had a little goodbye time for her. People expressed their thanks and appreciation for her. She has a bubbly personality and passion for Jesus. She will be remembered for her fervent prayers and constant smile.

God Bless you Faith

She wrote an email to everyone.
Dear Brethren, It is with gladness and a little sadness that I thankfully testify that God has answered our prayers for “Positions at the Top”. I will be leaving Tower Hamlets Legal Services  to take up a Senior role in another Local Authority closer to home, bless and thank God on my behalf. I will continue in my role as Head of Operations  for the LCCN so I will definitely be seeing you all often and do my best to fellowship with you on Mondays/Thursdays from time to time. I want to take the opportunity to give special honour and deep felt gratitude to the Leaders of the fellowship, I cannot find the words to fully express the love and regard I have for you all. Truly you have been called for such a time as this. May the Lord bless, protect and perfect all that concerns you. And to you all protect the peace you have found in the place of intercessory prayer with all diligence, therein is your power and preservation. May the Lord keep you and make his face to shine on you. Stay blessed and stay faithful, God is able to do exceedingly more than we can even ask for or imagine, so ask for great things and  imagine the impossible. Loving regards Your Sister Faith

I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever!

25-7-13

Revelation 1:18 NIV

I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

Christ has Risen.

He has victory over death. (He hold the keys to Death and Hades) 2 Tim 1:8-10 (Acts 2:24) 1Cor 15:54

We benefit from his resurrection. Rom 4:25

The fear of death dealt with Heb 2:14-15

He died, we died, he was raised, we were raised Romans 6 :4-10.(Col 2:11- 3:4)

Victory over your flesh Romans 8:11 NIV

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

Seated with Christ Eph 2:1-10 (v4-7)

Ephesians 1:19-21 NIV and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

A Hymn

Low in the grave he lay, Jesus my Savior,

waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord!

Refrain:

Up from the grave he arose;

with a mighty triumph o'er his foes;

he arose a victor from the dark domain,

and he lives forever, with his saints to reign.

He arose! He arose!

Hallelujah! Christ arose!

2. Vainly they watch his bed, Jesus my Savior,

vainly they seal the dead, Jesus my Lord!

(Refrain)
3. Death cannot keep its prey, Jesus my Savior;

he tore the bars away, Jesus my Lord!

(Refrain)

Steve's Birthday

There was a meeting today to prepare for the possible joining of other groups around London and UK wide.
But as it was Steve's birthday everyone gave him birthday wishes and a massive cake and a big card.
